Overview GMLCLink
is software for MapInfo Professional that lets you visualize and compare the
"predicted vs. actual" locations of wireless devices. The predicted location is
supplied by a GMLC server and the actual location is determined by GPS.
GMLCLink is intended to be used by RF engineers to
evaluate the accuracy of GMLC systems when used with specific mobile handsets.
In a typical configuration, an engineer places mobile
calls from a test site, then use GMLCLink to plot and evaluate the estimated call location
provided by the GMLC. GMLCLink software, with MapInfo Pro, normally is installed on a
laptop configured with a GPS such as the Garmin V (Garmin
International) and wireless network card such as the GPRS AirCard (Sierra Systems).

Prices GMLCLink
is normally licensed on a per-user basis for small numbers of users. Volume discounts
apply and site licenses or enterprise licenses are possible. Please call SGSI at
206-224-0800 for additional license options.
The base GMLCLink price *includes* a license to MapInfo Pro
for Windows NT/2000/XP. Discounts may apply if you have previously purchased MapInfo Pro
from SGSI.
GMLCLink software upgrade maintenance is required in Year
1.
Optional cost items include detailed street maps for a
single county or the entire country, as well as exchange area maps, LATA maps, and other
specialty maps.
The following price chart is not exhaustive but
illustrates ballpark prices for selected configurations of users and products.
Note: This
pricing applies to the current application. SGSI welcomes
requests for customized versions of GMLCLink and can quote costs based on
your specific user requirements.
