Features
Easy
installation:
Save the
"SGSI_MultiPrint.mbx" file to any directory,
then, from MapInfo Pro's menu select:
MapInfo
Pro 6.5 or higher:
Tools > Run MapBasic program ...
Launch
MultiPrint via the MapInfo Pro menu:
All
standard features of MapInfo Pro remain enabled including
map layering, data-driven (thematic) mapping, and map
data editing.

MultiPrint
can be automatically installed, each time you start
MapInfo Pro. To do this, use Tools > Tool Manager to
add MultiPrint to the Tool Manager list.
Optional
settings and preferences:

Creating a new workspace list:
With
MultiPrint, you specify the maps to print by selecting
Workspace files interactively. Once selected the list can
be saved as a table for future use
Note:
The option to Add/Remove workspace files, while building
the list, is not available with MultiPrint SE, the
limited function shareware edition.

Alternatively,
you can simply pick an existing table listing the
Workspace files.

Note:
MultiPrint SE, the limited function shareware edition, is
limited to printing 5 map workspaces.
Using an existing
Workspace list
Multiprint will create and populate a list of workspaces using a simple
"point-and-shoot" interface. Alternatively, if you wish to
create such a workspace table in MapInfo Pro but outside of MultiPrint,
the table should have a Character field named "WorName" containing the
full file path to the workspace (see below).

Printer
options:
Beginning
with Revision 5 of MapInfo Pro adds Printer definition
information to your workspace files. If your are printing
maps using workspaces prepared by others, their printer
definitions may not work on your systems. For that reason
MultiPrint offers the option to ignore printer
information in the workspace files and use your default
printer settings instead.
Note:
This option is not available with MultiPrint SE, the
limited function shareware edition.
Pause
between prints:
MultiPrint
generates and prints maps very quickly. With some network
printers it is helpful to pause between each map to allow
the print server or print spooler to catch up. In most
cases a "0" second pause, ie, no pause at all,
is fine.
Note:
This option is not available with MultiPrint SE, the
limited function shareware edition.
Redraw
window before printing:
MapInfo
normally redraws the map layout window as part of it
printing process. However, with some video cards and some
computers, this process is imperfect, particularly on
slower computers. If your printed maps are missing map
labels or other features that show on the screen, try
checking this checkbox to force a complete screen re-draw
for each map.
Note:
This option is not available with MultiPrint SE, the
limited function shareware edition.
Display
status messages:
Use this
checkbox to see processing messages as MultiPrint runs.
