full potential of the tools they have. All MapInfo
users, from first-timers to old hands, benefit from training.
The MapInfo Professional Tutorial is a good introduction for beginners
who are self-motivated. Connect to the Tutorial via the Help menu

A second no-charge option is online training. Online training was
available previously at a cost of $40/lesson. These lessons are
free to all users effective immediately.

In a custom training class, students cover
the core features of MapInfo Pro but the agenda focuses
on the specific MapInfo features most pertinent to your
work. Often we can integrate your
company's map data into the training.
This is hands-on training, with one computer per participant. (Most
common format.)

or a rented computer lab facility. There
must be enough equipment for all attendees, plus
a computer video projector or equivalent for
instructor use. If there will be more
than 6 attendees, a teaching assistant is
required (from your staff or ours) and costs are
slightly higher.

savant. You contract for as much time as you need.
Our trainer will be 100% dedicated to working with you:
answering questions, suggesting techniques, and/or
demonstrating ways to create wonderful MapInfo Pro maps
and map-based analysis. In contrast to custom
training, personal training services are normally one-on-one.
You are in total control of the content, pace, and choice
of topics. No training materials are provided by SGSI, although you may purchase copies of the MapInfo
Authorized training workbooks at our cost ($40-60/copy).
